
No amount of policies will make your team do great work. Team members who are forced will only do the minimum work necessary. And in the process, they will come to resent you. It creates a toxic culture.
Building a great team requires continuous coaching. It requires you to advocate on their behalf and help them succeed. Are you utilizing team member’s strengths? Do you provide the resources they need to succeed?
