This site is a resource for leaders who are passionate about serving people. You understand the impact your role has on the team’s performance, company culture, customer experience, and industry standards. You’re constantly learning. Striving to be a better leader as a manager, founder, or small business owner.
I’ve held leadership positions for over 20 years in multiple industries (health insurance, property management, retail, real estate) and in non-profit organizations (literacy, marketing). Like many others, my promotions were based on performance and didn’t include leadership support. Thus, I learned many lessons the hard way. Those lessons challenged me. When I didn’t get the outcomes I desired, I got curious. I reflected on my behavior, studied leadership, and bounced ideas with mentors. These habits continue to help me grow.

What Peers Say
I had the privilege of having Melissa as a speaker for the Inaugural Event Business Summit. As an event producer, having a speaker who is committed to making the event a success, is easy to work with and delivers an EXCEPTIONAL workshop is a gift to our team AND our attendees.
Thank you for the wonderful experience and preparation leading up to the event and for delivering one of our highest rated sessions.
Melissa K. Jones is a pro! I had the pleasure of co-hosting a live digital workshop with Melissa, “How to Simplify Your Work and Focus on What Matters!” Working with Melissa was fantastic. While collaborating on the session topic and details, Melissa provided candid feedback, pushed back on anything that was unclear, and asked helpful questions about our target audience and ideal attendee.
I’d encourage others to jump at the opportunity to have Melissa as an expert facilitator for both in-person and digital events. We accomplished a lot in just 60-minutes.
I have worked on hiring projects with Melissa for nearly two years, and in that time, I have witnessed her exemplify the skills involved in hiring and training. Melissa is a no-nonsense manager with high expectations for herself and others, a very strong attention to detail, and a keen understanding of human resource management and motivational leadership. Melissa is an absolute “class act”. Her professionalism is second to none, and she is a joy to be around. She has a strong moral character and a very intense desire to see others succeed. It was always a joy to help recruit a team for Melissa because I truly felt the new hires in her command would be working with an amazing leader. She advocates for her staff very well, and she has a passion for inspiring others to greatness. I have an immense amount of respect for Melissa, and would be honored to have her as a part of my business plan. She truly is a very inspiring person, and would be an asset to any business.
Melissa and I worked together with one of my clients. Melissa was very good to stay in communication with everyone involved in the transaction. It was sometimes challenging and Melissa was able to help us to continue to move foward at crucial times. She was very patient and professional! I would highly recommend her!
