You’ve heard these questions before.

  • Do you follow your own advice?
  • Do you practice what you preach?
  • Do your actions align with your words?

But when followed they create confidence. Confidence because you have the experience and daily practice to back it up. Confidence because those around you (clients, peers, and team) see your words in action thus increasing respect and trust.

Congruency reduces the feeling of “imposter syndrome” and self-doubt because you know what you’re capable of and trust yourself to follow through.

It’s easy to give opinions or make recommendations to others. It requires self-awareness and effort to apply the same standards to yourself.
